Oh no! Schedule change!
The cart is beautiful but the books are heavier (but just as gorgeous) as we thought! As such we are not going to be uptown but beginning at 1pm in Chelsea as scheduled. See us there!!
The Performances!
1pm on 24th Street just off 10th Avenue: David Coggins, “Ask the Expert!” Our expert’s knowledge is thin but wide-ranging, alternately oblique and crystalline. Propose your question and await the answer at your own risk!
2pm on 10th Avenue between 22nd and 23rd Streets: Nayland Blake, “Critique the Art!” Earn a chance to win a small original work of art. All you have to do is record a thirty second critique of the piece to get a raffle ticket, then cross your fingers!
3pm on 22nd Street between 10th and 11th Avenue: Martin Wilner, “Free for All!” First come first served free hand-stamped Journal of Evidence Weekly vintage metrocards. Get ‘em while you can, these won’t last!
4pm on the corner of 20th Street and 10th Avenue: Justin Talyor, “Listen to This!” Poetry, short stories, rambling mutterings of an angelheaded hipster? Who knows what you’ll get, but you will be mesmerized and entertained!
The Performers!
While meandering around the Chelsea art district, The Sienese Shredder street cart will stop at various locations and host some fantastic street performances by contributors to the new issue, including Nayland Blake, Justin Taylor, Martin Wilner and David Coggins.
Make sure you check back often for more details on times, locations, and just exactly what it is each of these talented artists will be up to.
